Our Accommodations & Rates
There are eleven motel rooms facing our outdoor pool. Eight rooms have two double beds, small fridge, two burner cook top with a sink. Two motel rooms have two double beds, small fridge and microwave. One motel room has one double bed, pull out couch and full kitchen. Guests only need to bring their own beach/pool towels when renting motel rooms.
Motel Rooms
We have eight of these units that face the lake. They are nestled just behind the cottages. Each unit has one room with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom. The second room has a kitchen area, dining room facing lake, pull-out sofa and one twin bed. These are housekeeping units and do not receive daily maid service. Only sheet linens are provided in these units. Guests must bring their own blankets, bath & beach/pool towels.
One Bedroom Suites
We have four, two-bedroom beach front cottages. Each has a galley kitchen, living/dining area, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Three of the cottages have one double bed and two twins. The fourth cottage has four twin beds. These are housekeeping units and do not receive daily maid service. Only sheet linens are provided in these units. Guests must bring their own blankets, bath & beach/pool towels.
Two Bedroom Cottages
We have four, three-bedroom beach front cottages. Each has one double bed and four twin beds. There is a galley kitchen, living/dining area and one bathroom per cottage. These are housekeeping units and do not receive daily maid service. Only sheet linens are provided in these units. Guests must bring their own blankets, bath & beach/pool towels.
Three Bedroom Cottages
Our White Sands Complex is located just next door to Silver Sands Motel. Each unit has a full kitchen, dining area, living room, two or three bedrooms and one bathroom. All White Sands units have Air Conditioning. These units can be rented seasonally or monthly. When not rented by the season or month, these units are rented weekly. Please call for current White Sands rates. These are housekeeping units and do not receive daily maid service. Only sheet linens are provided in these units. Guests must bring their own blankets, bath & beach/pool towels.

Boat Policy & Fees

Day‑use launching is $30 per day. Payment is required before launching to avoid being towed. If you arrive outside office hours, payment envelopes are available at the ramp. Parking is for launch vehicle and trailer only and is first come, first served. When the lot is full, launching will pause until space opens. Overnight parking is not permitted. Thank you for choosing Silver Sands — enjoy your day on the water!

We do our best to accommodate each guest with one boat slip during their stay. Slips are limited and cannot be guaranteed, but if one isn’t available at check‑in, we’ll assign one as soon as it opens. Whether you’re launching daily or have an assigned slip, the fee is $20 per night or $120 per week for one watercraft. Additional watercrafts incur an extra charge.
The FAQs
Motel units require a two‑night minimum, with a three‑night minimum on certain holidays and special events. Cottages and suites also require a two‑night minimum in spring and fall, and weekly stays during the 10 weeks of summer.
What are the minimum stay requirements?
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required for all nightly reservations. Weekly reservations require a $500 deposit.

How does parking work for guests?
Each unit includes parking for one vehicle. Additional vehicles may be subject to parking fees.
Are pets, fires, or canopy tents allowed?
For the safety and comfort of all guests, we do not allow pets, fire pits, campfires, fireworks, or personal canopy/pop‑up tents.
Can I have visitors during my stay?
Guests or Visitors are not permitted on property beyond the occupancy allowed for your unit type.
All reservations are subject to a cancellation fee. We cannot offer refunds for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows or arrival‑day cancellations. Nightly stays (6 nights or fewer): cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival incur a $50 fee; within 14 days, the full deposit is non‑refundable. Weekly stays (7 nights): cancellations before February 1 incur a $100 fee; on or after February 1, the deposit is non‑refundable.
